I do not support this bill. It references a Woolwich subdivision ordnance. Woolwich is not the rest of Maine nor is it a representation of all of Maine. With all do respect the sponsors of this bill do not look like they have ever built a road befor let alone have the right to tell municipal governments how to keep track of roads. This bill would add undo cost to towns as most towns have rules for subdivision roads and the specs for wich there built. As for private roads it shouldn't matter and if those roads were ever turned over they would first have to be brought up to spec befor going to town meetings to decide. This bill is an infringement on the way life should be by outsiders from away who thinks they know what is good for Maine and her people. Maine people work hard why make things harder.
