You want to give Child Protection more power when they have caused irreparable harm to families across this state? Have you considered the ramifications of this bill? Divorced out-of-state custodial parents could not stop another parent from fleeing their state under the guise of seeking “medical care.” That parent could unilaterally decide on irreversible procedures. This is grossly irresponsible of these legislators. Shame on you for acting like this is “life-saving healthcare.” That’s a snow job.
